Schedule of the Earth Day at Dhammakaya Temple

Please come to make merit together since the Earth Day on Monday April 22nd, 2013.  There are the ceremonies of offering alms as Sangha Dana to monks from 24,000 temples across Thailand, offering alms to monks in 323 temples, and giving fund to teachers in four unrest Southern provinces of Thailand.  These ceremonies are going to be arranged in Dhammakaya Temple, Pathum Thani province.

Morning
09.30 a.m.	The Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni, the Monastic President, arrives at the ceremonial center – leads the Buddhist congregation to meditate
10.30 a.m.	The Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni, the Monastic President – gives fund to help teachers in four unrest Southern provinces – takes group photos with the teachers from four unrest Southern provinces – receives donation
11.00 a.m.	The congregation perform the ceremony of offering meal to the monks as Sangha Dana
11.15 a.m.	End of the Morning Ceremonies
Afternoon
1:30 p.m	The Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni, the Monastic President, arrives at the ceremonial center – leads the Buddhist congregation to meditate
The Ceremonies of Offering Alms as Sangha Dana to monks from over 24,000 temples around Thailand and to the monks from 323 temples in four unrest Southern provinces
2:00 p.m.	The Monastic President arrives at the ceremonial center
3:05 p.m.	The representative of the congregation says the speech of inviting celestial beings and speech of offering alms
3:15 p.m.	The Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni and his monastic disciples offer alms to the representatives of the monks in four unrest Southern provinces.  The monks give blessing. –  The donors offer alms to the monks from over 24,000 temples around the country
3:35 p.m.	The monks give blessing
3:45 p.m.	End of the afternoon ceremonies
Evening
The Ceremony of Inviting the Golden Statue of the Most Ven. Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Candasaro), the Monk who conquered Maras, to circumambulate Dhammakaya Cetiya
4:00 p.m.	Monks and congregation line up to enter the Meditation Square around Dhammakaya Cetiya
5:00 p.m.	The Golden Statue Inviting Procession circumambulates Dhammakaya Cetiya one time
6:00 p.m.	End of the Circumambulation Ceremony
Taking historic group photos / Making a wish
6:00 p.m.	Monks, donors and congregation line up to take historic group photos – The Most Ven. Phrabhavanaviriyakhun leads the monks and congregation to make a wish in front of the Golden Statue of the Most Ven. Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Candasaro), the Monk who conquered Maras
6:30 p.m.	End of the historic group photo shooting
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.	The ceremony of giving the Buddha coin as a gift
