Our four monks from Wat Phra Dhammakaya Taipei accepted the invitation of Huazhong Temple to receive alms and teach dharma on August 31, 2017. They began with the Mantra chanting ceremony to worship the Triple Gem. The monks led the Mahayana monks and the congregation to chant Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta. Then, the laypeople offered saffron robe sets and alms to the monks together and the monks gave blessings in Pali and Chinese.
After that, the Monastic President Phra Maha Thanat Cheddadhammo โม taught dharma on the topic of “Refrain from doing evil deeds and do good deeds.” Then, he led the laypeople to purify their action, speech and mind to dedicate merit to their deceased relatives.
The Mahayana monks and laypeople at Huazhong Temple were happy that they linked merit lines with us at that time.
