Phra Thanawut Tissaro from Thai Buddhist Meditation Center in Japan taught monthly meditation for the Japanese at Joenji Temple, Shinjuku, Tokyo, on Friday January 13, 2017.
After the Evening Chanting, the teaching monk introduced basic meditation and he gave 3 principles which were doing it comfortably, doing it intentionally and doing it continuously. Meditation can be done every day and it is not a serious thing or too much desire. If you get peaceful from meditation, it is counted to be useful for you.
After that they meditated together along with the teaching monk’s guidance and had Dharma Talk. Before they went back home, the teaching monk had given a calendar to each of them.
