From August 16-18, 2016, The Middle Way Meditation Institute organized the Middle Way Three-Days Meditation retreat at Pop House Retreat Center, Phathumtani which gave an opportunity for foreigners who love inner peace to come and practice basic meditation and learn Dhamma that is universal for all, so that they can use the knowledge to benefit their daily lives.
During this retreat, the participants learned the principles of meditation, the universal goodness and Thai Buddhist Culture such as how to show respect to the monks, how to clean and dry dishes in the proper way and how to put shoes in the right order. They also received guidance on practicing mindful awareness. After each meditation session, the teaching monk answered the participants’ questions, examined their experiences, and advised everyone to continuously practice meditation. From the discussions, many people had good experiences. Some found happiness and peace within.
