Thai Buddhist Meditation Center in Japan, Tokyo, arranged meditation and taught dharma in Japanese on the topic of “Real happiness and the secret of sufferings” on Sunday May 14, 2017. The teaching monk was Phra Maha Somkiat Punyatejo. The teaching monk explained about the nature of negative thinking, the result and problems which suffer the thinker. The monk also taught more about how to lessen their sufferings by not attaching with people and things and change their attitude to encourage themselves by telling in front of the mirror that “Everything will be better and better every day.”
After that the teaching monk let the participants to encourage themselves by adjusting and bringing their minds from any stories temporarily.
Then, the monk led them to meditate by gradually placing their minds at the center of the body for 30 minutes. Finally, they had Dharma Talk before going back home.
