Wat Phra Dhammakaya London arranged Tuesday Meditation Class for Locals on Tuesday August 7, 2018. The British laypeople go to meditate together at Wat Phra Dhammakaya London every week. They learn how to sit and place their minds at the 7th Base of Mind. On that day the teaching monk introduced how to adjust their body and minds to be relaxed and free from worries.
Then, the teaching monk taught them to place their minds in the abdomen and repeat Mantra “Samma Arahang” continuously. They meditated together for 45 minutes.
After the meditation session, the teaching monk taught dharma on the topic of the knowledge of life. He explained the Law of Karma and the results of actions. These are the truth of life that everybody should study no matter what religion he/she believes.
All of us are under this law that is doing good deeds yields good fruits and doing bad deeds yields bad fruits. The teaching monk woke them up by asking the questions that why we were born and what our life goals were.
Finally, he told them that these questions would be clear and they would get the answers when they attained dharma and the real inner refuge.
The knowledge on that day was useful and interested them very much so that they wanted to come back again to study more.
