Meditation Course for Beginners// August 13, 2016—Thai Buddhist Meditation Center, Japan

The Thai Buddhist Meditation Center in Tokyo, Japan arranged the Meditation Course for Beginners on Saturday August 13, 2016.  There were 2 sessions which were the afternoon session and the evening session.  This course interested many Japanese and was taught by Phra Maha Dr. Pongsak Thaniyo.

Before practicing meditation, the teaching monk introduced how to adjust their body to be comfortable and not tense by observing themselves after each meditation session what sitting-posture enabled them to meditate happily.  Last week, the teaching monk gave the participants homework to set their daily schedule to meditate and this week the teaching monk advised them about each kind of meditation and set the meditation sessions.  The teaching monk introduced the solution for each participant and had Dharma Talk which really interested them.
