Meditation class for Japanese// May 29, 2016—Wat Phra Dhammakaya Yamanashi

On May 29, 2016, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Yamanashi organized the 1st meditation class for Japanese, from 2PM-4PM local time, and Ven Phrakhrupalad Sunet Chalapinyo led this meditation class for Yamashino locals.

The class was started with a casual conversation and followed by meditation practice, which was divided into 2 sessions; the first one lasted 15 minutes before a tea break and a Dhamma talk with the teaching monk about each individual’s meditation experiences. The second session lasted 30 minutes, then followed by another Dhamma talk regarding to each person’s meditation experiences again.

The class attracted everybody’s attention and everybody liked a short meditation class like this. A Japanese teacher who also participated in this meditation class talked about his first meditation experience that the entire time he felt relaxed, light and semiconscious. He said it was such a good feeling and felt thankful that he was invited to this meditation class.
