The Japanese Meditation Village, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, arranged the weekend meditation retreat.
Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged a beginning meditation class for locals during November 24th – 26th, 2017 (2 nights and 3 days). There were 8 meditation sessions. There were 15 Japanese participants and the teaching monks were Phra Maha Dr. Chattapong Katapunyo, Phra Thanawut Tissaro, and Phra Chaiwat Khunawuttano.
Everyone participated in the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta Chanting Ceremony, an exercise session, a breakfast offering ceremony, a meditation session, and a sermon session.
Each attendee had good meditation experiences. They felt comfortable, were able to still their minds, and obtained inner peace because of meditating in a natural environment.
Everyone further understood dharma principles, will meditate continuously at home and all have intentions to come back to meditate at the Thai Buddhist Meditation Center of Japan.
