Wat Phra Dhammakaya Osaka and Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tokyo were honored to lecture and arrange meritorious activities at Ryukoku University. It was the first time since the University was established that foreigners gave a lecture in the 377-year-old Chapel, one of the University’s landmarks. Phra Maha Dr. Pongsak Thaniyo lectured on the topic of the meritorious activities of Theravada Buddhism – the auspicious and inauspicious ceremonies, and arranged ceremonies for over 120 people, including deans, teachers, and students.
