Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged a meditation class for locals during August 11–14, 2017 (3 days and 2 nights). There were 7 meditation sessions and there were 8 Japanese participants.
The teaching monks were Phrakhrupalad Sunet Chalapinyo, Phra Maha Dr. Chattapong Katapunyo, and Phra Chaiwat Khunavattano. All participated in the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta Chanting Ceremony, exercised, participated in the Breakfast Offering Ceremony, meditated, and listened to dharma talks.
Each participant had a good meditation experience. They felt comfortable, were able to still their minds, and obatined inner peace through meditating in a natural environment. All participants understood the dharma principles more, made an intention to meditate continuously at home, and intended to come back to meditate at the Thai Buddhist Meditation Center of Japan.
