The Japanese Dhammadayada Training Program was held during April 29th – May 8th, 2016 at Wat Pang Ma Kluay (วัดปางมะกล้วย) in Chiang Mai province. All eleven Dhammadayada monks had strong intentions to train themselves based on the Buddhist way such as observing the five precepts, meditation, and etc. with happiness during the summer time in Thailand. In fact, this is generally the hottest period in Thailand but the weather at this temple was very cool, comfortable and suitable for meditation. Many Dhammadayada monks said that this place is suitable for meditation because the environment is plentiful. There are hills, stream and waterfall, which make the atmosphere fresh. The environment around them enabled them to meditate well. They experienced the inner light, peace and comfort. The most important thing is the locals love and believe in Buddhism very much. They came together to help the temple to prepare the ceremonies and offer alms to the monks every day. It is likely an international Buddhist village because many foreigners from different countries travel to meditate there.
