On 21 July 2025, Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department, Wat Phra Dhammakaya related that His Majesty the King offered 10 sets of monks’ robes, basic necessities and shoulder bags for the blessing ceremony on occasion of his 73rd birth anniversary on 28 July 2025 at Wat Phra Dhammakaya-Bavaria, Germany. Most Venerable Phravithesbhavanadham, abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya-Bavaria and vice president of the Union of Thai Sanghas in Europe (UTSE) was the monastic chairman and Mr. Ekawit Komolpaew
head of Consular Affairs, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Munich, Germany was the laypeople chairman.
The Union of Thai Sanghas in Europe (UTSE) has an important role to cooperate, support and supervise the working of Dhammaduta monks in European countries especially the Buddhism propagation in Europe and the promotion of unity among Dhammaduta monks.
