Fifth Grade Students Visit, Wat Phra Dhammakaya London

Fifth graders from St. Andrew Woking School went to Wat Phra Dhammakaya London to study meditation and Buddhist knowledge on Monday June 25, 2018.  On this occasion Wat Phra Dhammakaya London gave a warm welcome and taught basic Buddhism to the students.

Phra Maha Khampha Khamphirajayo told them about Buddhist history, the temple history and showed them the photos of the many activities organized by the temple. After that, the teaching monk taught them how to meditate by placing their minds at the 7th base of their body, visualizing a crystal ball and repeating the mantra “Samma Arahang.”

When they finished meditation, they visited the Exhibition of Buddhism and the rooms within the temple.

Kal. Khruawan Sookcharoen and volunteer Debbie introduced and explained the places within the temple.

The students also learned Buddhist principles on giving and keeping the 5 precepts and finally, they took some group photos together.  All activities on that day made them happy and impressed them very much.
