Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation handed over more than 80,000 items of dry food to support the living of monastic communities, teachers, police and soldiers in Narathiwat province.
On 15 July 2023, Venerable Prakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, the Director of Communication Department mentioned that due to the civil unrest, affecting the living of monastic communities like the less alms receiving of the monks and local people who cannot normally earn a living, Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation with the coordination of Venerable Phrasamu Suchaya Munisettho, the Ecclesiastical Head of Yi-Ngo and Bacho subdistricts, the Secretary of the Associate Ecclesiastical Provincial Head of Narathiwat province and the Monastic Head of Narathiwat’s Youth Training Center, handed over more than 80,000 items of dry food to support the living of monastic communities, teachers, police and soldiers in the risky areas of Narathiwat province.
As for the donated items of dry food, they are 1. 40,000 packs of instant noodle 2. 6,250 kilograms of rice 3. 3,000 cans of canned fish. 4. 100 packs of glass noodle 5. 5,000 packs of snacks 6. 10,000 sachets of 3 in 1 instant coffee 7. 10,000 sachets of 3 in 1 Milo 8. 5,000 packs of dry noodle.
These gifts are provided to 30 sectors of monastic communities, temples, schools, local resident communities and soldiers like Khok Khian Temple, Tung-Kong Temple, Ratwiriyaram Temple, Khok-Pa-Kha community, Choeng-Khao community, Khokniang community etc.
