Basic meditation class, October 7-8, 2017 — Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tochigi

Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tochigi arranged a basic meditation for locals from October 7-8, 2017. 8 locals joined in this program.

The first day, the teaching monks taught Buddhist Customs such as bowing and chanting the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta.


The second day, they exercised and offered breakfast and lunch to the monks. The teaching monk led meditation, asked about their experience, and taught tips on how to live happily through meditation.

The participants received a warm welcome, had delicious Thai food and stayed in the beautiful natural environment. They had good inner experiences, felt comfortable and very peaceful. They all understood dharma and meditation more and intended to apply it in their daily life.
