On 24 March 2026, Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department, Wat Phra Dhammakaya related that Dhammaduta monks from Wat Phra Dhammakaya, led by Venerable Sander Khemadhammo, organized a meditation course at PintaPeople Training Center in the Netherlands. This course was warmly welcomed by a number of attendees, aiming to learn the mental development from within.
This activity was organized by two attendees who joined the previous meditation course with Venerable Sander 15 years ago and introduced this course to their friends and other interested people. Most attendees were Europeans, having interest in self-development from within through the meditation of relaxation & mind stilling style. The key to success for this meditation practice is to still the mind by focusing on the body center with relaxation and consciousness. Let go of everything in the mind, meditate without any expectation and accept all inner experiences. Then the mind will gradually become still and finally reach the stage of inner peace.
After the meditation practice, most participants gave positive feedback; for example, some attendees attained the inner happiness and relaxation or enjoyed inner peace through meditation. This implies that meditation is the universal method and can be practiced effectively regardless of religion. It is regarded as the way of self-development for the quality life in today’s society.
