Georgia Meditation Center (G.M.C.) arranged the Meditation Class for Locals on Wednesday September 5, 2018 and there were 22 participants.
At 7:00 p.m., the local volunteers alternately led the class activities such as Meditation Circle, taking exercise, the orientation on meditation and how to use the meditation room, telling dharma stories.
Then, at 8:00 p.m., the teaching monk, Phra Narong Gunesako, gave a dharma lecture on the topic of “the Law of Karma” for the locals to understand more about the Buddhist teaching. The locals were interested in the Law of Karma very much.
At the final period of the lecture, they asked a lot of questions and listened to the teaching monk’s answers so that they gained a better understanding about the Buddhist teaching.
Before going back home, the participants made the donation to raise the temple maintenance fund together.
