Thailändischche Sonntagsschule Schwarzwald which is part of our temple here in Kippenheim, Germany has been organizng Thailändisches Kultur-Food Festival for many years now. This year event was on Sunday, June 19th, 2017. We are very honored that Mr. Matthias Gutbrod, Kippenheim’s mayor, his wife Bürgermeister Matthias Gutbrod, his wife, Helena Fischer and also his daughter joined our event on the day.
The purpose of the event is for fund raising for our new kitchen construction. We have been using a small kitchen of the temple since we have acquired the place in 2009. Due to the need of bigger kitchen to support the food production for many people on our big event days, it is time for us to move on to the construction of the new one.
The event also has become one of Kippenheim yearly events that many local people here in Kippenheim and nearby like to come and try Thai many authentic Thai foods from Thai shops that served by the temple volunteers and other private shops. It is the time that our school of Thai language and cultures present the Thai cultures performed by the students of the school too.
Many local German people and people from the media also were there to observe the event. I like to share the beautiful moment of the event with all.
