The Merit Making Ceremony for the King Rama IX on National Father’s Day

On 5 December 2025, at Plook Sattha 2 Building, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Pathum Thani, Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation, together with disciples of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and residents of Khlong Luang district, jointly organized the merit making ceremony on occasion of the birth anniversary of the King Rama IX so as to express their loyalty to him and commemorate his contributions to the country.

At 7.30 am, Most Venerable Phrakhruvijit Ar-Pha-Korn, ecclesiastical chief of Khlong Luang district and abbot of Wat Sawangphop, presided over the almsgiving ceremony and gave blessing to the laypeople with the monastic community.  Later, District Chief of Khlong Luang Apisra Ket-In was the chairperson for the ceremony of offering flower trays in front of the portrait of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. These activities reflected deep affection of the locals of Khlong Luang district toward His Majesty. Additionally, they jointly declared to follow the footsteps of King Bhumibol Adulyadej to do good deeds by inheriting, preserving and creating more values of his royal initiatives.

Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation, led by Venerable Phrakhrupaladrattanaveerawat, abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, have continuously provided support on the place of special events and food & beverage for the event attendees in order to facilitate the arrangement of these events for the overall benefits of local communities.
