On Sunday, July 17, 2016, in front of Khun Yai’s crystal residence located inside the Great Sapha Dhammakaya Hall, there was an alms offering ceremony to 57 international monks that recently ordained in the 14th IDOP from composing of 11 different nationalities.
The ceremony started at 6.30 A.M. Ven. Phrakhrusamuh Jarin Ratanawanno was the monastic president and Prapai Yueng, Ho Chee Har, Chow Wai Kee, Tan Tian Lian, Ooi Seok Kooi, Kesinee Kaewchand and Siripan Sripolbhaew were the lay presidents who recited verses in 3 different languages during the ceremony which where English, Thai, and Chinese.
Hundreds of people from Thailand and overseas gathered to attend this alms offering ceremony, by which they all were extremely delighted to see men of different nationalities ordaining in monkhood to practice and train themselves through Buddhist conducts and meditaiton. This is such a big step in propagating Buddhism worldwide.
