On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th, 2015, Phra Maha Dhammarattana Dhammaratano, the Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Ibaraki, Japan, and Japanese laypeople were the representatives of the Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni (Luang Por Dhammajayo) to bring basic necessities to aid flood victims of Typhoon Etau. The delivery was done at Tsukuba District and Joso District in Ibaraki Province which where near the flood areas.
Due to heavy rain from Typhoon Etau in Japan during the past weekend, many areas in the northeastern and central regions of Japan were damaged. One of the most damaged cities Joso in Ibaraki Province. The flood damaged 32 km in residential and agricultural areas.
