Venerable Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department – Wat Phra Dammakaya related that the congratulatory ceremony for graduates of the 9th Pali studies level was initiated by Luang Por Dhammajayo because he realized the importance of Pali studies, which covered the overall Buddha’s teachings. It is not easy at all for anyone to graduate with the 9th Pali studies level and there are not so many new graduates for this highest Pali studies level in each year. Then they should be admired for their effort. It is the 36th year that Wat Phra Dhammakaya organized this event in order to support the Pali studies of the monastic communities and present plaques and scholarships to outstanding Pali schools across Thailand as the special honor for them.
