2,000 relief supply bags, distributed to the flood victims in Phrae, Nan, Sukhothai and Chiang Rai provinces

On 29 August 2024, Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso-director of Communication Department of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Venerable Phratheerapat Kultheero-coordination head of Morality Promotion Center and representative of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Mr.Damrong Khanadluang-representative of Dhammakaya Foundation, handed over 500 relief supply bags to the head of Morality Promotion Center in Sukhothai province. These 500 relief supply bags were distributed to the flood victims in 4 districts of Sukhothai ( Muang district, Si Samrong district, Si Satchanalai district and Sawankhalok district). The flooding in Sukhothai affected 5,603 households in 142 districts. Besides, another 500 relief supply bags were handed over to the head of Morality Promotion Center in Chiang Rai province and distributed to help the flood victims of 5,615 households in 11 districts of Chiang Rai.

Previously, 1,000 relief supply bags were provided to the flood victims in Phrae and Nan provinces. In summary, 2,000 relief supply bags are donated to help the flood victims in Sukhothai, Chiang Rai, Phrae and Nan provinces. As for the ready-to-eat food, gained from the almsgiving and packed in relief supply bags, they are boxed milk, canned fish, instant noodle, canned pickled mustard green, glass noodle and so many other items.
