World Meditation Day in 2022

In celebration of World Meditation Day, Wat Phra Dhammakaya encouraged people throughout the world to create inner peace through meditation for the world peace and submit their meditation photo to break the Guinness World Records for one million meditation photos.

Venerable Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, Director of the Communication Department, stated that in 1988, the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth realized the significance of meditation since it was a universal practice that everyone of any religion can do. They also campaigned to raise awareness of the importance of meditation so that everyone can live together happily in harmony.
