Students Visit Wat Phra Dhammakaya London

Over 120 boys from an all boys school in New Malden, London went to Wat Phra Dhammakaya London to learn about  meditation and Buddhist knowledge on Monday June 18, 2018.  On this occasion, the temple gave a warm welcome and taught basic Buddhist knowledge to the students.

The teaching monk told the history of Buddhism and the temple and showed the photos of the many activities organized by the temple.  After that, the teaching monk taught everyone how to meditate and place their minds at the 7th base of their body and visualize a crystal ball and repeat the mantra “Samma Arahang”.

Then, they meditated together and after the meditation session, the boys visited the exhibition of Buddhism and studied the Buddhism.

The local volunteer, Ms. Debbie, explained and introduced the Buddhist practices such as giving and keeping precepts before taking some group photos together. All activities on that day made them happy and impressed them very much.
