Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged the meditation class for locals form July 27–30, 2017 (3 days and 2 nights). There were 8 meditation sessions and there were 6 Japanese participants. The teaching monks were Phra Thanawut Tissaro and Phra Maha Dr. Chattapong Katapunyo.
The activities included chanting the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta in the morning and evening, exercising, offering the morning meals to the monks, having Thai food together, meditating, and listening to dharma.
Each participant had good meditation results. They were calm, able to still their minds and experienced inner peace because of meditating in the natural environment. All of them understood the principle of meditation even more and will do it continuously. They also intend to meditate at Thai Buddhist Meditation Center in Japan further.
