Meditation Class for Beginners// May 30, 2017— Wat Phra Dhammakaya London

Wat Phra Dhammakaya London arranged the weekly meditation class for locals on Tuesday May 30, 2017, where there were 23 attendants.

The teaching monk guided them how to place their minds along 7 bases of mind by translating Luang Phaw Dhammajayo’s teaching.  The teaching monk suggested for them to still their minds.

After that they meditated together for 45 minutes.  Then, the teaching monk asked about their experiences, they shared their experiences and got advice as guidelines from the teaching monk.  The teaching monk taught dharma on the nature of mind and the value of monkhood.  The monk has more chance to train his mind.  The monk is the life that is nearer to Nirvana than any other life.  Many participants became interested in Buddhism and wanted to know more.
Then, the teaching monk let them adjust their minds and gradually placing their minds at the center of the body.  They purified their minds together for 10 minutes and they finally had dharma talk before going home.
